More Details on Our Top Picks
2-in-1 Pool Basketball & Volleyball Set
This set stands out for combining both basketball and volleyball in one package, offering flexible gameplay options for a wide range of ages. Compared with options like the OHYEMO 2-in-1 LED Pool Volleyball & Basketball Game Set, it does not include LED lighting but excels in stability with its double-reinforced base, making it suitable for regular pool use. Its main tradeoff is the inability to play both sports simultaneously, which may limit multiplayer excitement. The quick, tool-free setup appeals to casual users seeking straightforward assembly, but some reviews point to mixed durability and stability issues over time. Overall, this pick makes the most sense for families wanting a simple, reliable combo set that covers both games without extra bells and whistles.

OHYEMO 2-in-1 LED Pool Volleyball & Basketball Game Set
This set elevates poolside fun with its vibrant LED lighting and remote-controlled color modes, making it ideal for evening games. Unlike the XtremepowerUS 2-in-1 Pool Volleyball Net & Basketball Hoop Combo Set, it emphasizes visual appeal with 17 colors and flashing modes, creating a lively atmosphere. The shared water-filled bases provide stability, but the need to switch between games due to shared bases limits continuous play. The LED balls add excitement but require batteries or charging, which can be inconvenient. This makes it perfect for those who prioritize fun aesthetics and a dynamic nighttime experience over simultaneous gameplay or maximum durability. It’s a fun choice for casual pool parties that want a splash of color and light.
Pros:- LED lighting with 17 colors and multiple flash modes
- Shared water-filled bases for stability
- Quick setup with included pump and bases
- Remote control for easy operation
Cons:- Cannot play volleyball and basketball simultaneously
- LED balls need batteries or charging, adding inconvenience
Best for: Partiers and families wanting colorful, illuminated pool games for evening entertainment.
Not ideal for: Serious competitive players or those seeking continuous, simultaneous basketball and volleyball matches.
- Brand:OHYEMO
- Backboard Size:30 x 20 inches
- Rim Diameter:14 inches
- Net Length:Up to 25 ft
- Balls Included:2 LED basketballs, 2 LED volleyballs

Our verdict“This set is ideal for nighttime pool fun with vibrant lighting, best suited for casual, lighthearted play rather than intense competition.”
Pool Mate Swimming Pool Basketball and Volleyball Combo Set
This set emphasizes durability and ease of use with its plastic construction and water-filled bases, making it suitable for casual poolside play. Compared with the XtremepowerUS 2-in-1 Pool Volleyball Net & Basketball Hoop Combo Set, it offers a straightforward, tool-free setup but relies on the stability of its water-filled bases, which may vary based on water levels. Its plastic build is rust-free but might not withstand prolonged outdoor exposure as well as metal or composite materials. It’s a good fit for users seeking a low-maintenance, no-fuss option, though the plastic may show wear over time. Overall, it’s best for those who prioritize simplicity and durability over high performance or advanced features.
Pros:- Easy to switch between basketball and volleyball
- No tools required for setup
- Rust-free plastic construction
- Affordable and lightweight
Cons:- Water-filled base stability can vary and may need refilling
- Plastic material may degrade faster outdoors over time
- Limited to poolside use, not for intense play
Best for: Casual families or beginners wanting an easy-to-assemble, rust-free pool game set for occasional use.
Not ideal for: Experienced players or those needing a highly stable, long-term fixture for frequent use.
- Includes:volleyball net, 1 volleyball, 2 basketball hoops with bases, 1 basketball
- Material:plastic
- Features:water-filled base, easy setup
- Transformability:basketball hoops transform into volleyball posts
Our verdict“This set is a practical choice for casual users seeking simple, durable pool games without complex features.”
XtremepowerUS 2-in-1 Pool Volleyball Net & Basketball Hoop Combo Set
This dual-sport set combines sturdy HDPE construction with a stainless steel rim, making it a durable option for active pool games. Compared to the Pool Mate Combo Set, it offers adjustable hoop height and a longer volleyball net (up to 20.3 feet), catering to more versatile play. The 67-pound water-filled base ensures excellent stability during high-impact games, but it also makes the set somewhat cumbersome to move or empty. The included inflator and accessories support immediate use, and the stainless steel rim avoids rust issues common with metal rims. This set suits serious pool game enthusiasts who want a resilient, customizable setup but are okay with the logistics of filling and emptying a heavy base.
Pros:- Durable HDPE construction with stainless steel rim
- Adjustable hoop height of 28.3 inches
- Net length up to 20.3 feet for versatile play
- Heavy water-filled base for maximum stability
Cons:- Filling and emptying the 67 lb base can be cumbersome
- Requires more setup effort than lighter, less robust models
Best for: Active families or pool owners seeking a durable, adjustable, and stable combo set for frequent use.
Not ideal for: Casual users or those with limited storage space, due to the heavy base and setup effort.
- Brand:XtremepowerUS
- Material:HDPE
- Basketball Hoop Height:28.3 inches
- Volleyball Net Length:Up to 20.3 feet
- Weight (filled with water):67 lbs
- Included Accessories:Inflator pump, basketball, volleyball
Our verdict“This set is best for serious players who prioritize durability and stability over convenience or quick setup.”
2-in-1 Pool Volleyball & Basketball Set with Glow-in-the-Dark Basketball and Adjustable Net
This set combines versatility with fun lighting features, making it ideal for evening or nighttime poolside games. Unlike the Pool Mate Combo Set, it adds glow-in-the-dark basketballs and an adjustable net that fits most pools, enhancing usability for diverse setups. The glow feature extends play into low-light conditions but may diminish over time with frequent use. The set’s adjustable net and included pump make it adaptable for various pool sizes, but it’s less suited for high-impact or competitive play due to the plastic construction and lightweight design. This pick appeals most to casual users who want a colorful, illuminated experience for outdoor summer nights.
Pros:- Glow-in-the-dark basketball for nighttime fun
- Adjustable net fits most pools and sizes
- Includes all necessary equipment for immediate use
- Lightweight and easy to set up
Cons:- Glow-in-the-dark feature may fade over time
- Plastic construction may not withstand rough play or weather
Best for: Families or groups looking to add fun, glow-in-the-dark features to their outdoor pool games for evening entertainment.
Not ideal for: Players seeking highly durable, heavy-duty equipment for frequent or competitive use.
- Includes:2 basketballs (1 glow-in-the-dark), 2 volleyballs, adjustable net, weighted bases, hand pump
- Material:ABS plastic and nylon netting
- Adjustable Net:Yes
- Glow-in-the-Dark:Yes
- Suitable for:Inground, lap, and round pools
Our verdict“This set is perfect for casual outdoor nighttime play, especially in pools or beaches with a preference for colorful, glowing fun.”
2-in-1 Pool Volleyball and Basketball Set
This set stands out for its ability to easily switch between water basketball and volleyball, making it highly adaptable for various pool sizes and weather conditions. Compared with the Joyin XL Inflatable Set, it offers more stability and adjustability but doesn’t support simultaneous games. Its adjustable net fits pools up to 16 feet wide, and the durable ABS construction ensures longevity. However, the bases must be filled with water, which can be cumbersome, and it can’t be used for multiple games at once. This makes it ideal for pool owners who want flexibility without needing multiple sets.
Pros:- Easily switches between basketball and volleyball
- Adjustable net fits pools up to 16 feet wide
- Durable, all-weather, rust-resistant materials
- Lightweight and portable for storage
Cons:- Cannot use basketball and volleyball simultaneously
- Bases require filling with water for stability
- Limited to flat, poolside surfaces
Best for: Families who host diverse pool parties and value versatility in games
Not ideal for: Pool owners with very large pools over 16 feet wide or those wanting simultaneous basketball and volleyball games
- Set Includes:2 water basketballs, 2 water volleyballs, 1 adjustable volleyball net, pump, instruction manual
- Max Pool Width:16 feet
- Base Capacity:100 pounds
- Material:ABS
- Adjustable:Yes
- Suitable for:In-ground pools, backyard, beach, indoor
Our verdict“This set is best for those seeking a flexible, all-in-one water game solution for pools up to 16 feet wide.”
2-in-1 Pool Basketball Hoop and Volleyball Net Above Ground
This set excels at providing a safe, easy-to-assemble option for children to enjoy both basketball and volleyball in the backyard or poolside. Unlike the Joyin XL Inflatable Set, it offers a more stable frame with fillable bases that can be weighted with water or sand, making it better suited for active kids. Its adjustable net extends from 15 to 25 feet, accommodating different pool sizes, but the net may need frequent readjustments with heavy use. The included balls are perfect for kids, though they may wear out over time. Overall, it’s a durable, fun choice for families with young children wanting to switch between games effortlessly.
Pros:- Versatile 2-in-1 basketball and volleyball
- Easy to assemble without tools
- Sturdy, stable with fillable bases and sandbags
- Adjustable net fits different pool sizes
Cons:- Bases require filling with water or sand for stability

- Adjustable Net Length:15-25 ft
- Material:High-strength ABS
- Base Filling:Water or sand
- Stability Features:Includes 2 sandbags
Our verdict“This set is perfect for families wanting a safe, adjustable, and easy-to-set-up game for kids’ outdoor fun.”
JOYN XL Inflatable Pool Float Set, 125” Volleyball Net & Basketball Hoops
The JOYN XL Inflatable Set offers a spacious, inflatable design ideal for lively pool parties involving both kids and adults. Its large 125″ volleyball net and basketball hoops provide ample space for multiple players, creating a mini water sports arena. Compared to the non-inflatable options, it’s more portable and easy to store but requires a dedicated, open area in the pool for setup. The inflatable PVC construction is durable, yet frequent reinflation may be necessary during extended use. It’s best suited for those wanting a substantial, inflatable game setup that adds a splash of excitement to summer gatherings.
Pros:- Extremely large size enhances play and fun
- Durable PVC construction for longevity
- Includes weight bags for stability
Cons:- Requires sufficient space for setup
- Inflatable items need frequent reinflation
- Limited to water-based use only
Best for: Large pool owners hosting summer pool parties with multiple players
Not ideal for: Smaller pools or users seeking permanent, non-inflatable fixtures
- Volleyball net size:125″ x 38″
- Volleyball size:9″
- Basketball hoop size:27.6″ x 29″
- Basketball size:5.5″
- Material:PVC
- Includes:2 weight bags
Our verdict“This inflatable set is ideal for those who want an expansive, portable water game for large pools and lively parties.”
Dunn-Rite PoolSport Swimming Pool Basketball Hoop & Volleyball Combo Set
This set combines durability and versatility with its premium stainless steel rim and 16-foot net, designed for serious pool players. Compared with the GoSports Splash Hoop, it offers larger, more stable bases and the ability to switch between half-court basketball and volleyball. Its USA-made construction and salt-system compatibility appeal to owners seeking long-term quality. However, it requires manual filling of the bases with water, which adds setup time, and switching modes involves some assembly. This set makes the most sense for pool owners who prioritize premium build quality and durability for frequent use, especially in saltwater pools.
Pros:- Two games in one set – basketball and volleyball
- Heavy-duty, 115 lb bases for stability
- Salt system compatible and USA-made
- Modern all-white design
Cons:- Bases require manual filling, adding setup time
- Assembly needed to switch game modes

- Volleyball Net Length:16 feet
- Max Pool Width:22 feet
- Base Capacity:12 gallons each
- Included Balls:1 water basketball, 1 neon pink water volleyball
Our verdict“This premium set suits owners who want durable, high-performance pool sports equipment for frequent, serious play.”
GoSports Splash Hoop 2-in-1 Pool Basketball & Volleyball Set
The GoSports Splash Hoop excels at rapid setup and versatility, making it ideal for spontaneous poolside fun. Its water-weighted bases and tool-free assembly allow for quick switching between basketball and volleyball, unlike more bulky or complex options. Compared with the 2-in-1 Pool Volleyball and Basketball Set, it offers a slightly larger pool capacity of 25 feet, catering to bigger pools. However, the water-weighted bases require filling each time for stability, and the set is limited to poolside use, not suitable for large or outdoor courts. It’s a practical choice for families seeking immediate fun with minimal fuss.
Pros:- Easy to switch between games in seconds
- Suitable for pools up to 25 feet wide
- No tools required for setup
- Includes water balls and pump for quick use
Cons:- Bases need filling for stability each time

- Material:Water-weighted bases
Our verdict“This set is perfect for families prioritizing quick, hassle-free setup and versatile water play for larger pools.”
SwimWays 2-in-1 Pool Sport Combo Set – Volleyball and Basketball for Pools
This set stands out for its no-fuss setup and versatility, offering both volleyball and basketball in a single package. Unlike the GoSports Splash Hoop PRO, which is dedicated solely to basketball, the SwimWays combo provides a dual experience that appeals to mixed-interest families. Its heavy-duty bases ensure stability without complex assembly, making it ideal for casual pool days. The main tradeoff is the net length, which might feel limiting for larger pools, especially compared to the adjustable nets of other sets. But for those seeking quick setup and multi-sport fun, this set hits the mark.
Pros:- No assembly required, quick to set up
- Includes both volleyball and basketball with nets up to 24 feet
- Heavy-duty bases for stability in water
- Suitable for all ages, family-friendly design
Cons:- Limited to poolside use only, not portable for other environments

- Includes:Basketball game, volleyball net, volleyball, basketball, inflation needle
- Weight:19 pounds
- Designed for ages:6+
- Net length:up to 24 feet
Our verdict“This set is perfect for families seeking a straightforward, all-in-one water game experience with minimal setup effort.”
JOYIN Inflatable Pool Toys Set – Volleyball and Basketball Game for Kids and Adults
Compared with hard-set options like the GoSports Splash Hoop PRO, the JOYIN inflatable set offers a playful, soft-touch experience suitable for kids and casual adults. Its inflatable court and hoops make setup straightforward—just inflate and play—though this does require time and effort, especially when compared to the tool-free assembly of other sets. The durable, leak-proof materials ensure longevity, but the inflatable nature means stability depends on proper inflation and weight bags, which may be less reliable in windy conditions. Still, its non-toxic, high-quality raft material makes it a safe, fun choice for summer gatherings.
Pros:- Inflatable court and hoops are easy to store and transport
- Made from durable, leak-proof, non-toxic materials
- Suitable for both kids and adults, versatile fun
- Meets US safety standards
Cons:- Requires inflation and setup time, which can be inconvenient
- Weight bags needed for stability, adding to prep time
- Less stable in windy conditions compared to rigid sets
Best for: Parents or hosts wanting a soft, inflatable game set suitable for kids and relaxed adult play
Not ideal for: Serious competitive play or large pools where net tension and stability are critical
- Includes:Volleyball court, 2 weight bags, basketball hoops, volleyball, basketball
- Material:High-Quality Raft Material
- Safety Standards:US Safety Standard, Safety Test Approved, Non-Toxic
Our verdict“This inflatable set is ideal for casual summer fun and families seeking soft, inflatable water games that are easy to store.”
GoSports Splash Hoop PRO Pool Basketball Game
The Splash Hoop PRO excels in delivering a true basketball feel, with a large 34 x 25-inch backboard and a 14-inch rim, making it the most realistic option among pool-specific basketball hoops. Compared to the 2-in-1 combo sets, it focuses solely on basketball, so it’s better suited for serious players or those prioritizing authentic gameplay. Its sturdy construction and UV-resistant materials ensure durability, but it requires filling the base with water or sand, which can be a hassle. It’s limited to poolside use, so it’s less flexible than the versatile, multi-sport options.
Pros:- Large, pro-inspired backboard for realistic play
- Durable, UV-resistant construction suitable for outdoor use
- Easy to set up in around 3 minutes
- Includes two inflatable water basketballs and a pump
Cons:- Requires filling the base with water or sand for stability
- Limited to poolside, not portable for other uses
- Focused solely on basketball, no volleyball component
Best for: Pool owners who want a dedicated, high-quality basketball hoop for summer fun and are less concerned with volleyball
Not ideal for: Families seeking a multi-sport set or those with above-ground pools that can’t accommodate the base weight
- Backboard size:34 x 25 inches
- Rim size:14 inches
- Base weight:50 lbs when filled
- Includes:2 inflatable water basketballs, pump
Our verdict“This set is perfect for pool owners who want an authentic basketball hoop with professional aesthetics and are willing to handle the setup process.”
GoSports Splash Hoop 2-in-1 Full Court Pool Basketball & Volleyball Game Set
This set stands out for its ability to switch between basketball and volleyball in seconds, making it highly versatile. It features an adjustable net that fits pools up to 25 feet wide, with no tools required—ideal for spontaneous game changes. Compared to the inflatable JOYIN set, it offers more stability and a more robust net system, though its volleyball net is limited to pools with a maximum width of 25 feet, excluding some larger or above-ground pools. The water-weighted, tip-resistant bases ensure stability without anchoring, but the set is primarily designed for inground pools, limiting its flexibility for above-ground use.
Pros:- Two games in one set at a lower cost than separate purchases
- Tool-free, instant setup and switching between games
- Adjustable net fits pools up to 25 feet wide
- Stable, water-weighted, tip-resistant bases
Cons:- Volleyball net limited to pools with max width of 25 feet
- Likely not suitable for above-ground pools due to size and stability issues
- Requires water filling for stability, which takes time
Best for: Hosts or families who want a multi-game setup with rapid switching and easy, tool-free assembly for inground pools
Not ideal for: Above-ground pool owners with pools wider than 25 feet or seeking a dedicated, single-sport game
- Games Included:Pool basketball and pool volleyball
- Included Balls:2 water basketballs, 2 water volleyballs
- Included Accessories:Air pump
- Max Pool Width:25 feet
- Pool Compatibility:Virtually any inground pool
- Bases:Water-weighted, tip-resistant
Our verdict“Ideal for those who want quick, multi-sport setup with minimal fuss in inground pools up to 25 feet wide.”
How We Picked
The products in this roundup were evaluated based on performance, build quality, ease of setup, versatility, and value for money. I considered how well each set balanced durability with user-friendly features, ensuring they are suitable for different pool sizes and user ages. The ranking reflects a mix of consumer reviews, brand reputation, and feature set, prioritizing options that provide a reliable, enjoyable experience without unnecessary complexity or cost. This approach ensures readers can find a set that matches their needs—whether for casual family fun or more serious poolside sports.Factors to Consider When Choosing Pool Basketball And Volleyball Combo Sets
When selecting a pool basketball and volleyball combo set, it’s important to consider several factors beyond just the price. Size compatibility ensures the set fits your pool, while material quality affects longevity. Ease of installation and storage can make a big difference in how often you use the set. Lastly, features like adjustable heights or glow-in-the-dark elements can enhance your experience, but often come with tradeoffs in cost or maintenance. Understanding these factors helps you avoid common pitfalls and choose a set that truly enhances your poolside leisure.Size and Compatibility
The size of the set must match your pool dimensions to ensure stability and safety. Larger sets with full-sized nets and hoops are ideal for bigger pools, while compact options suit smaller or above-ground pools. Always check the product specifications for maximum pool width or depth recommendations to avoid purchasing an incompatible set. Misjudging size can lead to unstable setups or difficulty in assembly, reducing your overall enjoyment.Material Durability and Construction
Look for high-quality materials like weather-resistant plastics, rust-proof metals, and reinforced netting. Cheaper sets may use flimsy materials that degrade quickly, especially under sun exposure or frequent use. Investing in sturdy construction pays off in longevity, especially if you plan to use the set regularly or in outdoor conditions. However, higher durability often comes with increased weight, making setup more demanding.Ease of Installation and Storage
A set that’s easy to assemble and disassemble encourages more frequent use and minimizes frustration. Features like quick-inflation pumps, adjustable poles, or lightweight components make setup smoother. Consider how much space the set occupies when stored—compact, inflatable designs are convenient for small storage areas but might require frequent reinflation or repair. Ease of storage is especially important if you have limited shed or garage space.Additional Features and Fun Factors
Features like glow-in-the-dark balls or adjustable net heights can elevate your poolside experience. These extras can add versatility and fun, especially for different age groups or nighttime play. However, they often increase the cost and may require extra maintenance, such as replacing batteries or managing light sources. Decide which features matter most for your typical use to avoid paying for unnecessary bells and whistles.Price and Overall Value
Price ranges widely from budget-friendly to premium sets. Cheaper options may lack durability or stability, leading to more frequent replacements. Higher-priced sets tend to offer better materials, stability, and additional features, providing longer-term value. Balance your budget with your expectations for performance and longevity, and consider whether investing more initially will save money over time.Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these sets on any type of pool?
Most pool basketball and volleyball sets are designed for above-ground pools or pools with smooth, sturdy edges. Inflatables or portable sets work well on inflatable pools, while more robust, mounting-based sets are better suited for larger, stable pools. Always check the product specifications to ensure compatibility with your pool type and size, as improper fit can lead to instability or damage. How durable are inflatable sets compared to fixed-frame options?
Inflatable sets are generally lightweight and easy to store, but they tend to wear out faster, especially if exposed to rough handling or harsh weather. Fixed-frame options made of metal or heavy-duty plastic typically offer better longevity and stability, making them suitable for frequent use. Consider how often you’ll use the set and your willingness to perform maintenance or repairs when choosing between these styles. Are glow-in-the-dark balls worth the extra cost?
Glow-in-the-dark balls add a fun dimension for nighttime play, but they often come with higher prices and may require batteries or special care to maintain brightness. If your pool is mainly used during the day, this feature might not justify the extra expense. However, for evening or night use, they can significantly enhance the experience by making gameplay more visible and exciting. What safety considerations should I keep in mind?
Safety starts with ensuring the set is stable and securely anchored, especially in windy conditions. Avoid sharp edges or unstable bases that could tip over or cause injury. Also, pay attention to the height of the net or hoop to prevent accidental hits or injuries. Proper installation and regular inspection help maintain safety during active play. How much maintenance do these sets typically require?
Maintenance varies depending on the material and design. Inflatable sets need to be stored properly when not in use and checked regularly for leaks. Metal or plastic components may need cleaning to prevent rust or corrosion. Regularly inspecting the set for wear and tear, especially after exposure to sun or pool chemicals, prolongs its lifespan and ensures safe, enjoyable use. Conclusion
