This kit targets dedicated fans who want a magical, customizable lighting setup. Its touch control and dimmable features provide a level of control that surpasses basic lighting kits, creating a dynamic display. Installation is straightforward thanks to numbered light bags and online instructions, but the need for additional power sources like batteries or USB adapters can complicate setup. Still, for collectors seeking a high-end aesthetic, this kit offers a significant upgrade over simpler lighting options.
Pros:- Enhances display with magical lighting effects
- Touch control and adjustable brightness
- Easy installation with detailed online guides
Cons:- Batteries and USB adapters are not included
- Lights are sold separately from the model
- Requires additional power sources
Best for: Experienced collectors desiring a tailored lighting experience

LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle 77093
This set offers an entirely different experience, focusing on recreating the climactic final battle from Ocarina of Time. With over 1,000 pieces, it appeals to seasoned builders and dedicated Zelda fans. Its detailed minifigures and movable parts make it a compelling display piece, but the complexity and piece count can be daunting for casual builders. It’s less about display versatility and more about capturing a nostalgic, action-packed scene, making it less suitable for younger or less experienced builders.
Pros:- Highly detailed and nostalgic design
- Includes movable and secret features
- Great for display and collectible purposes
Cons:- Challenging build for casual or younger builders
- Limited playability as a stand-alone set
- Higher piece count increases complexity
Best for: Adult collectors and experienced LEGO enthusiasts
Not ideal for: Beginners or those seeking a simple Deku Tree build
- Piece Count:1,003
- Dimensions:6.5 in. high, 11 in. wide, 7 in. deep
Our verdict“A compelling choice for adult fans wanting a detailed, nostalgic scene rather than a straightforward display piece.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Lego Zelda Great Deku Tree Set
Selecting the right LEGO Zelda Great Deku Tree set depends on your building skill, display preferences, and whether you want extra features like lighting. Consider if you want a straightforward build, a customizable lighting setup, or a detailed scene that captures a specific moment from Zelda. Your choice should also reflect how much time and effort you’re willing to invest, and whether you prioritize display aesthetics or interactive features.
Build Complexity and Experience Level
If you’re new to LEGO or prefer quick, simple builds, the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 offers a balanced experience. Advanced builders will appreciate the detailed Ocarina of Time set for its challenge and nostalgic value. Meanwhile, lighting kits like BrickBling and BrickSoul are perfect additions for those who want to enhance an existing build or display.
Lighting and Display Features
Lighting kits can dramatically improve the visual appeal, especially in low light conditions. The BrickBling offers simple, safe lighting, while BrickSoul provides more control with touch and dimming features. Consider if you want an easy upgrade or a highly customizable experience, and remember that lighting kits require additional purchases and power sources.
Price and Compatibility
Prices vary depending on complexity and features. Kits like BrickBling are more affordable but only work with specific LEGO models, while the Ocarina of Time set is a larger investment but offers a complete, ready-to-display scene. Always check compatibility—lighting kits are designed for specific sets—so ensure your existing or planned build matches the specifications.
