Point Mallard Park sits on 2 km2 of the Flint Creek shoreline. This complex is open all year, and is owned and operated by the City of Decatur. Hidden among North Alabama’s wooded pines.
Sprinkled among Point Mallard’s major outdoor facilities are a number of other recreational facilities and activities available for your enjoyment. A large, covered pavilion is available for groups of up to 500.
Point Mallard Park Areas: Water Park, Golf Course, Camp Ground, Ice Complex, Strike Zone, Eagle Amphitheatre, Park Pavilions.

Wave Pool: America’s First Wave Pool, 55 m of Continuous Wave Action;
Pro-Bowl: Newest Slide That Shoots and Spins you in a bowl;
3 Flume Slide;
Sky Pond: Point Mallards Biggest Slide with A Two Person Float;
Sky Pond: inner-tube plunge off 12 m tower;
Duck Pond: a water play zone for children;
Sand Beach: along the Flint Creek, (a major tributary to the Tennessee River);
Olympic Pool: A Huge “T” shape swimming area;
Squirt Factory: kid’s activity area;
Park Amenities: Concessions, Gift Shop, Picnic Areas, Swings, and Playground.
This Water Park offers day parties and birthday parties during regular business hours and can be reserved exclusively for group parties.
